On the day

Prior to my arrival please lay out the following items. This will help with your photographers but also make the day run smoothly:

  • Bridal Outfit (wear prior to my arrival for ease of make-up application)

  • Heels

  • Jewellery

  • Ironed Hijab

  • Bouquet/ Handbag Dupatta/Veil

Where possible please get ready downstairs, in front of a window as natural daylight is preferred for make-up application

Exfoliate, cleanse, moisturise and apply lip balm before Sheuli’s arrival

A mirror will be required to assist with styling the hijab and setting your jewellery/dupatta etc.

Please arrange for 2 chairs and table (somewhere to place make-up kit)

If you have preferred make-up or hijab style have that ready for reference

Note: If booking only for bridal hijab styling, it is advisable not to book make-up and hijab styling simultaneously for the best outcome. Sheuli may require your head to move in different positions, and it's recommended to book hijab styling after makeup.

Skincare (recommended)

Having a skincare routine is crucial for a healthy, radiant, and glowing skin on your special day. It’s recommended for clients to have their facials done in advance with a qualified and specialist facialist.

It is advised to start a skincare routine at least six months before the wedding date.

Recommendations include:

  1. Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells.

  2. Cleanse your face to remove impurities and oil.

  3. Use toner to balance and hydrate your skin.

  4. Apply serum to address specific concerns.

  5. Use a sheet mask/face mask tailored to your skin's needs.

  6. Gently apply eye cream for dark circles or puffiness.

  7. Moisturize to hydrate and create a smooth canvas.

  8. Apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF 50 to protect against UV rays.

Extras:

  • Sheet masks are good for specific skin concerns and hydration.

  • Facial oils can provide extra nourishment based on your skin type.

  • Face masks are great for hydration, brightening, and purifying.

  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

  • Maintain a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables for healthy skin.

  • Get enough sleep for skin rejuvenation and repair.

  • Reduce salt intake to avoid water retention and toxins buildup.

It is recommended to wear your outfit beforehand to prevent scratching or smearing of the skin during makeup application. To protect your outfit from makeup, you can wear a gown.

Refund Policy

Bookings are non-refundable or transferable

The only time the deposit is refunded is if Sheuli is unable to fulfil the booking.

If a booking needs to be rescheduled, a new deposit is required. This is to account for the loss of work on the initial date/time booked.

Sheuli is not liable, nor required to refund in the instance of skin reactions. It is the client's responsibility to notify Sheuli of any product allergies beforehand, and in some cases, it's best to provide your own products.

Social Media

Sheuli will take footage of the clients final look for her portfolio and social media platforms. If you have any special requirements with regard to photos/videos being taken, please notify beforehand.
